Teacher Training

Sianna offers various programs for teachers to learn to share their gift of yoga, including two week-long programs in San Francisco, CA at YogaTree and 6-weekend programs in Berkeley, CA at YogaKula.

Week Long Programs at YogaTree

• Teacher Training Level 1 April 13-17, 2009
  (followed by a weekend celebration with Sianna and Darren Rhodes at YogaKula San Fran)
• Teacher Training Level 2 October 26-30, 2009
  (followed by a Halloween weekend co-taught with Desiree Rumbaugh at YogaKula Berkeley)

6-Weekends Program at YogaKula Berkeley
Sianna and Noah Maze teach 3 weekends each of this program, which begins the weekend of October 3-4, 2009. Sianna's weekends are:

• Teacher Training Weekend #2, November 7-8, 2009
• Teacher Training Weekend #3, December 5-6, 2009 (also Therapeutics)
• Teacher Training, Weekend #4, January 2010 date to be announced

Other Teacher Trainings

• Level 2 (Refinement for Current Anusara Yoga Teachers), February 21-22, 2009 at YogaKula San Francisco

The Art of Teaching program explores the essential Anusara teaching methodologies. Every aspect of teaching Anusara Yoga is practiced in a safe and supportive environment to help each teacher trainee flourish and soar to new heights.

Some areas of focus will include:

• Inspiring the students to move from inside out
• Using effective language skills
• Weaving heart-felt themes and philosophy into classes
• Powerful sequencing for all levels of students
• Taking the seat of the teacher
• Verbal and manual adjustments
• Therapeutic applications

Prerequisite: Completion of a 100-hour Anusara Immersion program. Completing both the Immersion and Teacher Training programs will fulfill the requirements for the 200-hour Certification with Yoga Alliance. The hours you accrue are credited toward Anusara Yoga certification.
